The group of companies were formed from the diverse business units of Integrated Tertiary Software (Pty) Ltd, a South African company registered in 1986. Our history shows that ITS Holdings is a company that is committed to South Africa, our neighbouring countries and Africa as a whole.
Equity Ownership
The acquisition of a 51% stake in ITS Holdings (Pty) Ltd by the listed empowerment IT company Adapt IT Limited, effective since July 2009 has enabled ITS Holdings to achieve its official rating from Empowerdex as a recognized B-BBEE contributor.
Transformation and compliance with the Codes of Good Practice for Black Economic Empowerment as published by the Department of Trade and Industry is a key part of ITS Holdings’ business strategy.
Positive recognition from both South African and international clients (who recognize the importance of promoting equality in societies) provides the assurance that ITS Holdings is pursuing the correct strategy. Employment Equity
The Employment Equity plan of ITS Holdings is designed to create and manage diversity and to develop all people within the group of companies. The group has made significant strides in the recruitment and appointment of previously disadvantaged individuals into diverse roles and positions within the group. The company supports the development of all staff through skills development and training programs.
Skills development
The development of staff skills and personal growth of employees forms part of the value system of ITS Holdings. Through dedicated support, a high percentage of staff have qualified as Oracle Certified Professionals.
Through its Learnership program, ITS Holdings also has a proud record of supporting students in the IT field by offering a number of in-service employment opportunities on an annual basis. A high percentage of students successfully completing their studies have been employed on a permanent basis within the group of companies.
Preferential Procurement
ITS Holdings fully supports the principles of preferential procurement. The company wherever possible, procures from previously disadvantaged individuals/groups and black empowered businesses.
Corporate Social Investment
The company and individual staff members are actively involved in a number of corporate social investment initiatives. This includes supporting the bursary funds of identified Higher Education institutions that are clients of ITS Tertiary Software as well as a generous donation to a very reputable Children’s Fund.
